Moeletsi Attorneys is a Level 1, 100% black-woman owned boutique law firm based in Sandton. Ms Qaqamba Moeletsi founded it in 2019. Moeletsi Attorneys Incorporated specialises in all aspects of Employment Law.

Ms Moeletsi has over 11 years post-admission as an attorney experience. She has exclusively practised employment law. Ms Moeletsi has done work for various individuals and organisations in the public and private sector. Moeletsi Attorneys currently represents individuals with internal disciplinary cases and organisations with cases before various tribunals such as the CCMA and courts.

Our Lawyers

Qaqamba Moeletsi

Qaqamba Moeletsi has extensive Labour Law experience, having exclusively practiced labour law since her admission as an attorney in March 2009. She also has a master’s degree in Corporate Law.

Qaqamba has a wide experience in employment law which includes, advising clients on the full spectrum of Labour Law, including but not limited to advising on the restructuring process in terms of section 189 or 189A of the Labour Relations Act, conducting investigations, chairing disciplinary hearings, incapacity hearings, facilitating retrenchments, advising clients on poor work performance procedures, mutual terminations, advising on transfers of businesses as a going concern, strike issues, and employment equity.

She has represented clients at the Labour Court, the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, and various Bargaining Councils.
Qaqamba has assisted clients in the drafting of section 189 notices, drafting responses to queries from employees on section 189 notices, drafting referral to the CCMA in terms of 189A of the LRA, communicating with employees on the contents of the retrenchment notices and proposals from the employer, representing the employer at the CCMA and drafting retrenchment agreements.

Wongama Ngqikazi

Wongama Ngqikazi obtained his LLB from the University of the Free State. During his studies, Wongama received recognition from the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society and was invited to become a member.

Since joining Moeletsi Attorneys Inc. Wongama has gained vast experience in employment law, with his roles and responsibilities being involved in high-profile matters, assisting counsel in running matters, including but not limited to, liaising with clients, serving and filing court pleadings, attending hearings at the CCMA, the Labour Court and Labour Appeal. Wongama impressively assists counsel with matters and is a key contributor to some of the firm’s successful litigation.

Wongama has particular knowledge of the nuances and intricacies of the day-to-day manner in which the Labour Court functions, having gained the requisite experience by liaising with various court officials, CCMA, and Bargainig Council commissioners and staff during the course of carrying out duties daily.

Keitumetse Lebakeng

Keitumetse is affectionately called “Tumi”. She is our alternate secretary. Tumi assists from time to time with the HR work at Moeletsi Attorneys. She has a BScoSci degree majoring in Psychology. Tumi has Human Resource experience, having worked in the HR department of a renowned car hire company. She is engaging and detail orientated.
